Axl Rose, the lead singer of Guns N’ Roses, might be the singer for AC/DC’s upcoming U.S. tour. The band had to postpone the tour after singer Brian Johnson was warned that he could completely lose his hearing.
Rose had been seen in Atlanta recently rehearsing, but it’s not clear for what. According to Alternative Nation, Atlanta radio DJ Jason Bailey said this week that he heard that Rose’s deal with the “Highway To Hell” band is “all but done.” Atlanta is on the list of cities AC/DC was set to visit, so rehearsing in Atlanta for the band doesn’t sound farfetched.
Earlier this month, AC/DC announced that Johnson was told by his doctors that he had to stop touring right away “or risk total hearing loss.” The 10-date tour was supposed to start in Atlanta on March 8.
It’s surprising that Rose has found the time to tour with AC/DC, since he’s going to work with slash once again to tour with Guns N’ Roses. That short tour ends with a performance at Coachella on April 23.
