A baby was found in a carry on bag on an Air France flight on March 7.

Air France flight 1891 was leaving from Ataturk airport in Istanbul and was on its way to Paris, reported Metro UK.

A woman was trying to look into her bag when a passenger noticed something suspicious in her bag. The passenger alerted a crew member. The crew investigated the bag only to discover a baby inside around the age of one or two.

Planet.fr quoted one passenger, Vincent, as saying, "The bag belonged to a woman sat near the back of the plane."  The baby was said to be just fine despite the travel setting.

After the discovery, the woman was escorted to the front of the plane by the flight attendants until the plane landed.

Air France says it requested "the presence of French authorities on the flight's arrival" to deal with the situation. French investigators are also trying to figure out why the woman brought the baby on the plane without an actual ticket, according to Fox News. The woman's name was not released.
