Country superstar Dolly Parton and popstar Katy Perry are set to hit the stage together next month.

Parton and Perry will perform a duet together at the 2016 American Country Music Awards, which airs April 3 on CBS. Parton teased the announcement on Twitter before confirming the news.

“Big news coming in 20 minutes!!!” the country star tweeted.

“I’ll be collaborating with the ever amazing and oh so talented @katyperry at this years @ACMAwards! #COMC @CBSTweet,” Parton wrote.

Perry was quick to quote the tweet and share her excitement.

“MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! I shall remember though that I am but one sequin on this living legend's costume!” SHE wrote with two praying hands emojis.

According to Billboard, Parton will also be presented with the Tex Ritter Award for her TV movie Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors that aired last year.

Perry has not released new music since her 2013 album Prism, but her new relationship with actor Orlando Bloom has made headlines over the past few months.
