Ted Cruz and Donald Trump aren’t slowing down from feuding this week, with Trump taking to Twitter on Tuesday, March 22 to involve Cruz’s wife Heidi Cruz.
Upset with the ad produced by the anti-Trump super PAC, Make America Awesome, that used a risqué photo of his wife, Melania Trump, Trump threatened to expose dirt on Cruz’s wife and accused Cruz of being involved with the ad.
"Lyin' Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad," Trump tweeted, adding, “Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!”
According to CNN, Trump tweeted and deleted another tweet about Cruz and his wife, which echoed similar sentiments, minutes before.
However, Cruz denied he had any involvement in Make America Awesome and called Trump a “coward” and “classless” for getting his wife involved.
