Foxy Brown says she is not endorsing Donald Trump despite a report claiming that she is supporting the Republican frontrunner and will be doing “a lot” for his campaign.
After the report published by the New York Daily News on Tuesday evening, Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, took to Instagram to clarify her position.
“I AM IN NO WAY ENDORSING TRUMP,” Brown wrote.
The rapper continued by writing, “MEDIA Sensationalizes Everything, Yet NO Mention Of My Glowing Remarks Regarding HILLARY CLINTON Or My Profound Respect And Admiration For BERNIE SANDERS.”
The original article claimed that Brown said she would be campaigning for Trump, but did not offer any details on exactly what she would supposedly be doing.
Earlier in the day, the 37-year-old received a key to her hometown city from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams. The purpose of the Daily News article was to chronicle that and discuss her return to the studio to record new music.
Some celebrities who have announced they are supporting Trump include Hulk Hogan, Dennis Rodman, Azealia Banks and Aaron Carter.
