By now Guns N’ Roses fans have heard that the band is reuniting and will be performing at this year’s Coachella and now another rumor can be put to rest as the group released a video confirming a North American tour.
The band released a 14 second video on Friday to the tune of their hit song “Patience,” and 21 cities they are set to make stops at this summer.
The Wall Street Journal noted that in addition to the upcoming tour stops noted in the video clip, GNR is also scheduled to play two nights at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9. They are also set to play two shows in Mexico City next month along with their gigs at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 16 and 23.
Reports have been swirling since December that a reunion tour with the band was possible. The tour is such a big deal for GNR fans since the last time Axl Rose and Slash played on stage together was in 1993. The only original member of Guns N’ Roses who will not be present for the April shows is guitarist Izzy Stradlin. It is not known yet if he will be touring with them in the summer.
