J.K. Rowling is taking her Harry Potter wizarding world to the New World in a new series of stories exclusive to her Pottermore website. The first story is now available.

As we previously reported, the stories were announced earlier this week. The first one centers on Native Americans and covers the 14th Century to the 17th Century.

Each story will be posted at 9 a.m. ET every day, from today through March 11. They bring readers up to the events of this year’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie with Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander. Here’s the breakdown of each future story, via Entertainment Weekly:

  • Seventeenth Century And Beyond (March 9) - looks at the Salem witch trials and explains the in-universe reason for them
  • Rappaport's Law (March 10) - covers the creation of the Magical Congress of the United States of America during the 18th Century
  • 1920s Wizarding America (March 11) - the story of American wizarding businesses

You can read Fourteenth Century - Seventeenth Century right here.

Fantastic Beasts opens on Nov. 18. Harry Potter fans can also look forward to the publication of Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child manuscript.
