Jena Malone still has a role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but we won’t see her in the theatrical cut.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Zack Snyder said that Malone’s mystery character will only appear in the R-rated ‘Ultimate Cut’ of the movie when the film hits home video. Snyder also hinted that other characters completely cut from the film theatrical version will appear in the R-rated version.

“I think we should keep it private, but it’s nothing that’s been talked about,” Snyder said about Malone. “She’s definitely not Robin or Batgirl. I’m happy to say that.” (So... she's Oracle?)

It was revealed last month that Snyder and Warner Bros. are working on an R-rated cut that will run even longer than the monster, 151-minute theatrical version. The studio refused to say how much longer the R-rated version will be.

BvS opens on March 25.
