Jenna Fischer to co-star in Matt LeBlanc’s CBS pilot

Matt LeBlanc’s new pilot might be for CBS, but he will be joined by another star familiar to NBC viewers. Jenna Fischer will co-star in the pilot.

The pilot was originally titled I’m Not Your Friend, probably in a reference to LeBlanc’s status as a former Friends star. As The Hollywood Reporter points out, it has now lost that title.

The multi-camera pilot will star LeBlanc as a contractor who has to take over parenting his children after his wife goes back to work. Fischer will play his character's wife, who is a medical lab technician.

Jeff and Jackie Filgo (That ‘70s Show) are writing the pilot, which is a CBS TV Studios production. Executive producers are the two writers, LeBlanc and Michael Rotenberg. James Burrows is helming the pilot.

Fischer is best known for playing the secretary Pam on The Office and recently starred on the dramedy You, Me And The Apocalypse, which aired on NBC in the U.S. She also appeared in a few episodes of The Mysteries Of Laura.
