Mariah Carey has been advised by her security not to perform her upcoming birthday concert in Brussels, Belgium on March 27.

According to TMZ, the concert was set for this Sunday. However, after the terrorist attacks in Brussels on March 22, her security is "strongly against," the "We Belong Together," singer moving forward with the show.

TMZ reports that Carey's status as a world famous singer, coupled with her being engaged to billionaire James Packer, make the concert a potential target for more attacks. The concert was personally special because the singer will be performing it on her birthday which also could make it a target.

Even without the potential for another strike, Carey's camp is worried that airports might be closed and the team responsible for putting on the concert may not be able to get to Brussels.

A final decision will be made pending more information from the U.S. Embassy, TMZ reports.

Carey did post a tweet in support of the people of Brussels.
