Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg are returning to theaters with another real-life story, three years after Lone Survivor. The actor and filmmaker took on the story of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion for the simply titled Deepwater Horizon.

Wahlberg stars as Mike Williams and the trailer juxtaposes scenes of him explaining what he does to his daughter and wife (played by Kate Hudson) and dramatic scenes of the explosions. The explosions caused an oil spill, which began in April 2010, in the Gulf of Mexico. It wasn’t until 87 days later that it was finally sealed and BP finally ended active cleanup of the site in June 2013.

The star-studded cast for the film also includes Dylan O’Brien, Kurt Russell, John Malkovich and Gina Rodriguez.

Wahlberg and Berg previously worked together on the Oscar-nominated war movie Lone Survivor. They will be working together again on the Boston Marathon bombing movie Patriots Day, which opens in January 2017.

Deepwater Horizon opens on Sept. 30.
