Oscar winner Anne Hathaway is not above doing a third Princess Diaries film, the franchise that launched her career to what it is today. Director Garry Marshall confirmed they’re doing a Princess Diaries 3 and Hathaway is completely on board.

Hathaway is currently expecting her first child with husband Adam Shulman but once she has the baby, they will begin to discuss a third film.

“I was with Anne Hathaway a couple weeks ago, it looks like we want to do Princess Diaries 3 in Manhattan," Marshall told People.

He added that she’s “very pregnant” right now, “so we have to wait until she has the baby and then I think we're going to do it."

As far as Chris Pine reprising his role from Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, Marshall said, “Maybe. He's quite big now, you know."

Hathaway played Mia Thermopolis in the first two Princess Diaries films, which are based off of Meg Cabot’s book series. Disney sources have denied rumblings of a third film in the past, but this time it looks to be promising.
