Renee Zellweger is back as Bridget Jones for the first time since 2004 with Bridget Jones’s Baby.

The new movie is set to hit theaters on Sept. 16, 2016 and finds Bridget still out in London and looking for love. She is now a TV producer and often runs into her ex, Mark Darcy (Colin Firth again). She thinks she might have found a new boyfriend though in Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey). Unfortunately, one day she learns that she is pregnant and has no idea who the father is. Hopefully her doctor (Emma Thompson) can figure that out for her.

Although the film isn’t based on Helen Fielding’s third Bridget Jones book, it is directed by Sharon Maguire, who helmed Bridget Jones’s Diary in 2001. Universal is clearly hoping that having Maguire onboard will make Baby more like Diary than the 2004 flop Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.

Baby could also be a comeback for Zellweger, who hasn’t been seen in a film since 2010’s My Own Love Song. At the height of her popularity, the actress was nominated for Oscars in three consecutive years and won Best Supporting Actress for 2003’s Cold Mountain.
