Sean Combs has announced a special one-time concert to honor his friend and former Bad Boy Records star, The Notorious B.I.G.
The show, titled "One Night Only," is set to take place on May 20, the day before what would have been Biggie's 44th birthday. XXL reports that Combs originally announced the show on DJ Khaled's We the Best radio show. It was also confirmed via a press release.
The concert is set to feature an all-star roster of Bad Boy's biggest acts including Ma$e, French Montana, Lil Kim, Faith Evans, Total, Mario Winans, 112 and The Lox. Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z will also be making special guest appearances.
Combs has been actively talking about the show on social media and posted video of himself announcing the tour to his Instagram account.
“This isn’t just another concert," Combs said according to the press release. With some of the biggest names in the industry, he claimed to be making hip-hop history. "Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time – Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all there,"
The concert will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
