File this story under sickening and as the reason you may not be in the mood for Kellogg's products anytime soon.

A video has surfaced online of what appears to be a man urinating in the food assembly line at a Kellogg’s plant in Tennessee.

The Associated Press noted that the cereal and sweet treats maker was made aware of the video on March 11 and contacted the authorities.

A spokesperson for Kellogg said that the company was “shocked and deeply disappointed” by the video and released the following statement saying that the clip was believed to have been shot in 2014.

"Our investigation revealed that the video was recorded at our Memphis, TN facility, in 2014. Products that could have been potentially affected were Rice Krispies Treats, Rice Krispies Treats cereal and puffed rice cake products, all of which would be past expiration date.

"Food quality is of the utmost importance to Kellogg Company. We are outraged by this completely unacceptable situation, and we will work closely with authorities to prosecute to the full extent of the law.”

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Office is conducting an investigation into this incident. So far no arrests have been made.
