Some fans of Zayn Malik are in mourning as the former One Direction member has gotten some new ink … on his face!
The singer took to social media on March 11 to share a photo of his new face art with his 7.8 million followers and many were not happy about it.
The new tattoo, between his ear and temple, displays the letters “M.O.M." The Daily Mail noted that is the acronym for his upcoming album titled, Mind of Mine. Malik captioned the photo "Like I Would," which is reportedly the name of his second single.
A few fans did approve, but most questioned why he would get a tattoo there. Some even suggested that he get it “lasered” off. While many couldn’t hold back and expressed their grief with devastated emojis, others are holding out hope that it is not a permanent tattoo.
In the photo it also appears that Malik shaved his head. However, that little tidbit practically went unnoticed because of all the focus on his tattoo.
