Disney Channel star Zendaya confirmed this week that she is going to be in the next Spider-Man movie, which will star Tom Holland as the web-slinger.

While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress said that she does have a part in the film, but didn’t reveal anything else. “I can’t say anything else other than, ‘I’m going to be in it,’” she said.

Ellen asked when she would start filming, but she couldn’t even say that for certain.

Despite her fame as the star of Disney’s Shake It Up! and K.C. Undercover, the 19-year-old said that she still had to do several auditions to win the part since she is a relative unknown in the film world. Indeed, she’s never made a movie before.

It is rumored that Zendaya will star as a character named “Michelle,” not Mary Jane Watson or Gwen Stacy, the usual female leads in the Spider-Man world.

The new Spider-Man, which will be made by Sony and Marvel Studios as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will open on July 7, 2017. Holland will make his debut as Spidey in Captain America: Civil War.

Spidey’s solo movie will also star Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
