Disney’s Zootopia has already set a box office record for the studio in Thursday night previews. The film kicked off its box office run with $1.7 million.

Zootopia stars Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin as the voices behind the lead characters. It’s the first film from the Disney Animation unit since 2014’s hit Big Hero 6 and is the first of two coming this year. Moana will be in theaters for Thanksgiving. According to Deadline, the film is expected to gross over $60 million this weekend.

Zootopia had the best Thursday previews for a Disney Animation feature, passing Big Hero 6's $1.4 million start.

There are two other films hitting theaters this weekend - London Has Fallen with Gerard Butler and the Tina Fey-starring Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

London Has Fallen means that Butler has had a movie opening in consecutive weekends. He starred in last weekend’s bomb Gods of Egypt. His new movie will probably do better and has already made $850,000 from Thursday previews. The Hollywood Reporter notes that it will likely hit $20 million.

London is the sequel to the surprise hit Olympus Has Fallen, which grossed $161 million worldwide.

Paramount’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot features Fey as a war correspondent and is expected to make at least $12 million.
