When you come for Bey, you best believe she's going to clap back!
The first night of Beyonce's Formation World Tour kicked off on April 27 in Miami, Florida. The Beyhive was super pumped to see their queen perform, but before she graced them with her presence, they had the opportunity to buy some Queen Bey merchandise.
According to Us Weekly, the Lemonade singer sold statement tees that said things like "Slay All Day" and a bomber jacket with the tour's lotus flower symbol on the back.
However, the T-shirt that got the most attention was the one that read "Boycott Beyonce" in bold letters.
Why is Bey boycotting herself, you may ask?
Well, she's not really boycotting herself; we suspect this statement is a response to the police.
It's quite hard to forget Beyonce's controversial Super Bowl 50 halftime performance of Formation that was said to be inspired by the Black Panthers.
After the performance was televised, some correction officers took it as an attack on police and found it highly offensive. As we previously reported, the show then led to a #BoycottBeyonce protest, which was held at the NFL headquarters.
It was a very unfortunate protest for those Bey boycotters, though, because only two people actually showed up. So apparently not too many people wanted to boycott the singer's tour. Which is why she threw the ultimate shade by selling these "Boycott Beyonce" tees and now she will continue to make more money off of her haters.
Talk about twirling on them, she's stomping on them now and refusing to let the haters get her down!
