Janet Jackson announced that the second leg of her Unbreakable tour has been postponed indefinitely as she was ordered by doctors to rest up while she and her husband are “planning our family.”
The singer took to her Twitter account Wednesday morning with the news that immediately sparked pregnancy rumors. Although the 49-year-old never actually said she was expecting a baby with Wissam Al Mana, 41, all signs seem to point to that conclusion.
"My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour,” she said in the 1:46 video clip. “Please, if you can, try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up; doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you."
As the Associated Press noted, Jackson married Al Mana is 2012. She was previously married to Rene Elizondo Jr. but separated from him in 1999 and prior to that was married to James DeBarge for three months in 1984.
If she is pregnant, this would be her first child.
