Melissa McCarthy is well known for her colorful characters, but she's just given Pocahantas a run for her money while lip-syncing to "Colors of the Wind" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

On April 4, McCarthy appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show to promote her new film The Boss, which as we reported will be released on April 8. She later joined the host for a rousing lip sync battle.

Jimmy started off the competition with a wobbly rendition of "Brand New Key," but his performance was no match for McCarthy, who donned a black baseball cap and promptly parlayed with DMX's "X Gon' Give It To Ya." Jimmy followed up with Zayn Malik's "Pillow Talk," but McCarthy brought it home with her unexpected song choice. "So, I'm obviously going to close with a song from the Pocahontas soundtrack," the actress quipped before launching into the prop-heavy number that included a glitter-filled finale.

Although McCarthy sadly will not be reprising her role of Sookie in the Netflix Gilmore Girls reboot, she has vowed to "watch every single" installment.
