Amber Heard’s lawyer has denied that his client is blackmailing Johnny Depp and slammed the claims that she is lying about domestic abuse.
After Heard alleged that she was physically abused by Depp, some people have come to the actor’s defense to try and debunk those claims including Depp’s friend, Doug Stanhope.
The comedian said that Heard is lying about being abused by Depp and is just trying to get money off her husband of 15 months.
The actress’ lawyer, however, has responded to Stanhope’s claims and said they are untrue.
“Allegations against Ms. Heard are absolutely and unequivocally false,” her attorney Peter Sample told The Wrap. He continued that Stanhope “has no basis in reality and is nothing but the typical celebrity muckraking for profit.”
Others who have defended Depp and called the abuse allegations false are his former partner Vanessa Paradis and their 17-year-old daughter Lily Rose, who has taken to Instagram to try and clear her father's name.
