The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to see success as, as expected, Captain America: Civil War kept the top spot at the box office, by bringing in an impressive second weekend gross of $72.5 million. This movie added itself to the list of top 10 second weekend results of all time, according to Box Office Mojo.

Disney also secured the second spot this week as The Jungle Book brought in $17.7 million, raising the total gross to over $310 million.

The two new releases of the week, Money Monster and The Darkness each had better than expected openings. Money Monster was third and brought in $15 million while the horror film The Darkness recorded $5.2 million.

Mother’s Day rounds out the top five and had a major drop from last week only grossing $3.3 million, raising the total to just under $30 million.

Zootopia crossed the $330 million mark after being in theaters for over 70 days. It is currently the second-highest grossing movie of 2016 but that will be short lived with Captain America about to pass $300 million after being out for only ten days.

Captain America should retain the top spot for at least another week until it faces some tough competition from X-Men: Apocalypse.
