It’s been over a week since Madonna took the stage during the Billboard Music Awards with a Prince tribute that wasn’t that well received by BET and now Madge is throwing shade back at the network after it’s tweet about it.
As we reported, immediately after the Material Girl’s performance, BET threw major shade the singer's way with a tweet promoting its award show and hinting that it will put on a way better tribute for the late artist.
“Yeah, we saw that. Don’t worry. We got you,” the now-deleted tweet said.
Madonna, however, is still bitter about the tweet and took to Instagram to throw some shade of her own directly back at BET.
In one post, she had on pink sunglasses and captioned the photo “I Will Shade You. ????hahahhahahahhahah.”
In another, she shared a throwback pic in which she is wearing a jacket Prince gave her signifying just how close they were.
And in yet another, she posted a photo of herself on stage the night of the tribute with the caption “Love Sees No Color.”
We’re pretty sure when BET airs its award show and tribute on June 26, Madonna will be watching and letting us know exactly what she thinks of it.
