Maroon 5 announced that they will be canceling two upcoming shows in both Charlotte and Raleigh over North Carolina’s new anti-LGBT legislation.

The band posted to their website stating, “This was a difficult decision for us to make as a band. We don’t want to penalize our fans in North Carolina by not performing for them, but in the end it comes down to what we feel is morally right.”

The “Moves Like Jagger” group isn’t the first to boycott playing shows in the state. Acts like Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, as well as Ringo Starr, have all canceled tour stops there as well.

Springsteen posted a lengthy statement about canceling his show back on April 8, 2016.

Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato did the same on April 25.
