A search warrant obtained from Prince’s Paisley Park home has revealed that the late singer’s doctor prescribed him medication and saw him the day before he died.

The Associated Press reported that the contents of the warrant released on May 10 by two news outlets, showed that Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg saw Prince a few times a month and prescribed him meds. The last time the doctor saw him was on April 20, which was the day before he died.

The warrant did not mention what the exact drugs prescribed were and the documents have since been sealed by the authorities.

Schulenberg's lawyer would not comment on the situation. The doctor is the second physician to be named in the entertainer’s death investigation.

Addiction specialist Dr. Howard Kornfeld was named as someone who Prince’s people reached out to for help before his death.

The “Purple Rain” singer was found unresponsive in his home on April 21 and pronounced dead after he could not be revived.
