Morgan and Colette switch which doctor they assist because Colette is currently not talking to Jodi. Colette has no idea how to deal with Mindy with her extra demands.

Mindy decides to take Leo for a TV audition for the soap opera, Tides of Tomorrow that calls for mixed race babies. Let’s just hope Mindy goes get all crazy stage mom. Leo makes it past the first round of auditions. Jeremy, who was on one episode of Law and Order SVU, is even coaching Mindy on how to behave on set.

Everything goes great on set. Leo gets chosen over the other baby (who is “baby acting famous”). However, after filming Mindy points out the head writer that there was already a boat crash on the show a month ago, ergo why would they need to film another one? Mindy is outraged when the episode airs and the other baby is in the scene instead of Leo.

Mindy is gradually getting the impression that Drew does not like to be around when Mindy is watching Leo. Drew makes an excuse any time he knows Mindy has Leo. Drew did not even bother to watch Tides of Tomorrow, which means he didn’t know about the baby switch. Mindy breaks up with Drew because she wants a man who will want to spend equal time with herself and her son.

At the end of the episode, Colette agrees that Courtney is not the worst person Jodi could be dating, because Colette finally learns that Jodi had an affair with their brother’s wife (remember from earlier this season??). Forbes, their brother, appears on queue to stop the bickering between Colette and Jodi. Jodi confesses to Forbes that he did sleep with his wife, Anne-Marie, while he was away in Iraq. As a result, Jodi got the pulp beaten out of him by Forbes.

Jodi walks into Mindy’s office to sympathize with her about Leo losing the part on the show. Half way through the conversation, Mindy starts making out with Jodi.
