Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla will posthumously  receive  a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The singer's Facebook page, which currently has more than 3 million likes, revealed that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the honor on Tuesday, June 28, and Quintanilla will receive her star in 2017.

According to the Hollywood Walk of Fame's website, Quintanilla is one of 34 celebrities who will soon be honored with a star. The new selections for the Hollywood Walk of Fame were revealed in a livestream . Selena's star  will be alongside big names like Amy Adams, Tyra Banks, Ice Cube, composer Jerry Goldsmith  (who will also receive his star posthumously), Criss Angel and boy band *NSYNC.

Selena will also posthumously be the face of a MAC cosmetics line and a music festival in her honor, Fiesta de la Flor, which just took place in Corpus Christi, Texas last May announced its 2017 dates, the Latin Times reported.
