Britney Spears is back with a new single and it's most definitely a contender for song of the summer, dethroning Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling" for the top spot on iTunes.
The 34-year-old released "Make Me" as the first single off her ninth studio album on Thursday featuring G-Eazy. The album remains untitled but is heavily awaited being that her last song was her collaboration with Iggy Azeala on "Pretty Girls" in 2015, which was a major flop.
In an interview back in June with E! News Spears exclaimed she was 'very excited' about the album, stating "I've been working on this project for a year and half now, so it really means a lot to me." She even considers the album to be her baby.
"Make Me" is definitely a new sound for the artist, that she described as "a little melodic, a little more not so poppy. Its kind of chill. Very chill."
However, this isn't the popstar's only new song, "Private Show" can be heard in a commercial to promote her newest fragrance, also named Private Show.
