Grab the eyeliner because the rock band My Chemical Romance has teased a comeback with a video released on the band's official Twitter account Wednesday.
As the image of a flag carrying a new logo for the band waves in the wind, the piano riff for one of the group's hit songs, "Welcome to the Black Parade" plays in the background. The brief video ends with the date "9/23/16."
The last My Chemical Romance album was released in 2010. Titled Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, the album reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 200.
Lead vocalist Gerard Way announced the band's breaking up on TwitLonger in 2013. At the time of breaking up, there were five band members: Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, bass guitarist Mikey Way, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, and keyboardist James Dewees. Drummer Bob Bryar left in 2010 with Jarrod Alexander filling in on tours since 2011.
The above tweet is the first from the account since April 2015.
