Nearly two weeks after his son Jerry’s tragic death, country music singer, Craig Morgan, has released a statement via social media on his family's heartbreak.
“The loss of our son Jerry is the hardest thing we have ever had to endure as a family,” he began the post.
He then thanked everyone on behalf of his family for their support during such a hard time.
“Jerry may be gone from this earth, and we will miss him every day, but his spirit will live on in our hearts,” Morgan wrote.
The singer concluded his post with, “We will find peace knowing that God has a bigger plan, and that one day, we'll be reunited with him again in Heaven. John 3:16.”
As we reported, Jerry’s body was found on Monday, July 11, after he went missing the day before. The 19-year-old was with some friends tubing in Kentucky Lake when he went under and did not resurface.
