Members of Fifth Harmony let out their frustration on Twitter July 4 in an effort to defend their security guard.

The security guard is facing allegations of inappropriately touching a fan at a hotel in Rio.

"We have been really busy working and making sure that you guys have as amazing of an experience with us as possible. But we feel like sometimes you guys forget that there are only 5 of us versus the hundreds of you."

The group, who released their second album titled 7/27 back in May, consists of members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordai, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane.

In the statement posted on Twitter, the group claims the allegations against the security guard and teen were fabricated and said they wanted to put out the statement to call out the alleged lie.

The famous girl group took it a step further and recounted the incident which they said they witnessed themselves.

"The girl tried to come to Lauren and Dinah‘s doors and the security we hired were with us speaking to us and making sure we were safe," the statement said. "We saw this girl lie to them about where she was staying and where her actual room was, tell them to ‘shut the f*** up and stop talking’ and then proceed to try and lunge toward Lauren‘s room so she could get a note to her.The security guards who ushered her away and made sure she didn’t follow through were doing their jobs of protecting us.'

Fifth Harmony also apologized for any inconvenience but said fans need to realize that when they disrespect their team, they disrespect Fifth Harmony.
