Following Thursday’s terror attack in Nice, France, Rihanna has canceled a concert which was scheduled to take place there on Friday.

The singer announced on her Instagram account that she was pulling the plug on her show that was initially planned for July 15 at a venue in the city.

“Due to the tragic events in #Nice, my concert scheduled for tomorrow July 15 at Allianz Stadium will not be going ahead as planned.  Our thoughts are with the victims and their families ????,” RiRi wrote.

BBC News noted that the Nice Jazz Festival scheduled for this weekend has also been canceled.

As we reported, 84 people were killed after a large truck, driven by Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, plowed through a crowd gathered in the French city to celebrate Bastille Day. It was the second deadly terrorist attack in the country since the Paris attacks last November.
