All hail Selena Gomez who is now the official queen of Instagram.
ET noted that the singer had already been named the most-followed celebrity on Instagram and now she also has the most-liked photo on the social media site.
Gomez has racked up more than 89 million followers and a photo she shared two weeks ago in which she is sipping from an old-fashioned Coca-Cola bottle has garnered more than 4 million likes. That accounts for the most likes ever for a single photo on the site.
A label on the bottle reads: “You’re the spark.” The line is from her song “Me and the Rhythm.”
“When your lyrics are on the bottle,” she captioned the image.
The specially marked bottles are all part of Coke’s latest Share a Coke and a Song campaign.
With all her followers and likes Ms. Gomez has easily topped all other Instagram users like her girl Taylor Swift (85.2 million followers), her ex Justin Beiber (74.6 million followers) and fellow pop singer Katy Perry (52.1 million followers).
Not bad for a 23-year-old who released her first solo album just three years ago.
