Justin Bieber apparently had enough and much to the dismay of Beliebers everywhere, he shut down his Instagram account after fans posted negative comments about his rumored new girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

Early Tuesday morning, the “Sorry” singer deleted his account, which had around 77 million followers, over the hate. He had previously threatened to switch his account to private if the negativity continued.

While Bieber’s fans mourned the loss Tuesday, another surprise came when his ex-Selena Gomez, who got into a back-and-forth spat with him one day prior, apologized for what she said.

When some from Justin's army of fans went after Gomez, she took to Snapchat and wrote, "What I said was selfish and pointless."

The former couple had a war of words after Beiber warned fans that he would make the switch if they didn’t stop. Several screengrabs posted online showed that Gomez then jumped in and told Bieber, "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol - it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."

To which he replied, "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still trying to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I'm not one for anyone receiving hate."

The two singers then took shots at one another for cheating with Selena saying that Justin had cheated multiple times and Justin accusing her of cheating with former One Direction member Zayn Malik.

Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see if the Biebs makes a return to the social media site, but for now RIP to his Instagram account.
