Lady Gaga deserves a round of applause because she is one busy lady these days.

Deadline.com first broke the news that Warner Bros. has finally given the go-ahead on the long-awaited, A Star Is Born. The report also revealed Gaga will be the leading lady for the film remake. Bradley Cooper will direct the "Poker Face" singer, which probably explains why the pair was seen riding around on his motorcycle back in April.

A Star Is Born tells the tale of a budding starlet who is being helped to fame by a stalled career leading man, who will be played by Cooper.

Janet Gaynor was the first "star" is 1937. With Judy Garland embodyied the role in 1954 and Barbara Streisand in 1976.

Singer Beyoncé was originally slated to take on the role, however, that deal fell apart.

This will be a first for both Gaga and Cooper. Oscar-nominated actor, Cooper, will make his directorial debut, as Gaga will tackle her introductory starring role.

Gaga is no newbie to the world of theatrics though. In addition to her dramatic performances and attire, she has acted in FX's American Horror Story: Hotel and collected a Golden Globe for the part.

And as if the announcement of a new movie was not enough for Gaga's "Little Monsters," a new single should be.

The "Applause" singer has taken to Instagram to reveal that a new solo project is on the horizon as she broadcasted that a fresh single titled "Perfect Illusion" will be out sometime in September.

Production on A Star Is Born will begin early next year in California.
