Fans of Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell and Ronnie DeVoe a.k.a. Bell Biv Devoe can rejoice because the trio has just announced that after a decade and a half, they are releasing a new album!

On Monday, the group released the music video of the album's first single titled "Run" and one of the great things about this video is the total nostalgia it gives you by starting off with the band's most-famous song, "Poison," playing as the guys jump into a jeep. Not only are all your memories while singing the 1990 classic brought back, but also some from 1997 as the song features a sample of Notorious BIG's hit "Hypnotize."

"Run" was produced by rap royalty Eric Sermon and contains the lines, That’s why I’m not giving my all / When you act like you don’t care at all/I guess I’m a sucker for love, but I believe in you, baby / So I never give up.

BBD got their start along with Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill in the popular band New Edition back in the '80s. They then found their own success with the release of  their  first album Poison and the single of the same name. That album also included the hits "Do Me!" and “She’s Dope!” It sold close to five million copies in the U.S. Two more albums then followed but they never eclipsed the success of "Poison."

Their new album, Three Stripes ≡, is set to be released in January. In addition to the new music, the guys have been working on a three-part mini-series for BET, which will chronicle their lives and the lives of their New Edition bandmates. That is scheduled to be released next year as well.
