Little Monsters rejoice! Lady Gaga has a treat for you just in time for Halloween.
Gaga announced a release date for the followup to her 2013 album, ARTPOP. She revealed on Apple's Beat 1 Radio that her much-anticipated project will drop on Oct. 21.
Not only did she gift fans with a release date, but she also disclosed that the new EP will be titled. Joanne!
"It’s everything about Joanne," the "Perfect Illusion" singer said regarding her late aunt who lost her battle to Lupus at 19. "She is the woman of my past who is becoming and helping me bring more of my honest woman self into the future."
After years away from the "mainstream limelight," Gaga felt compelled to give her fans as much information as possible regarding her fifth studio album.
Gaga disclosed that the album which she describes as "an Italian American girl, a city girl, venturing out into new territory," will consist of 11 brand new tracks, with 14 being on the deluxe edition of Joanne.
Gaga revealed two songs that fans can expect to hear, "Sinner's Prayer" and "John Wayne."
Mother Monster also broadcasted to Zane Lowe that the album is "actually going to be done in the next 48 hours," as her and super-producer Mark Ronson are still fiddling with the final track.
As to when that "Perfect Illusion" video will drop. Fret not, it's "coming out very soon."
