The autopsy results of country singer Craig Morgan's son have been released and confirm that the 19-year-old, who was found dead last summer after he went tubing, died from drowning.
On Monday, Oct. 17, The Tennessean noted that results from the autopsy on Jerry Greer concluded that the teen drowned in Kentucky Lake and the manner of his death was listed as accidental. The toxicology report showed that Greer had marijuana in his system at the time of his death as well as a "low level" of alcohol.
As we reported, Greer went missing last July after a tubing accident in which he was riding on a tube behind a boat, went under and never resurfaced in a lake near his home in Humphreys County, Tennessee. His body was found and pulled from the water a day later. Greer was still wearing his life vest.
His musician father is best known for the hits “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” “International Harvester” and “Bonfire.”
