After a summer of startling news, revelations and dismissals, Criminal Minds was back with a vengeance with a new episode. Introducing Adam Rodriguez as Agent Luke Alvez, the show revealed the team only had five more inmates they needed to catch after the prison escape. Luke is brought in to assist since he helped capture one of the men the first time, who was known as the Crimson King.
Meanwhile, most of the team welcomes Alvez, but one person is not quite ready for someone new. Garcia gives Alvez the cold shoulder, even though he tries to be friendly.
We also see how Hotch is still affected by Peter Lewis and since we know Thomas Gibson will not be on for long, time will tell how his character will be written out.
