Brandon Dickinson, better known as Lil Bibby, might never get used to the flashing lights of a rapper's life. Although fame might change some people, he prefers to keep his style authentic and that's refreshing to his audience. He even likes to rap about different things such as real life situations which is just one reason that he has been compared to artists such as Jay-Z .
"I don't want to be stuck in a lane where I'm known for making one type of music, I like to try different flows and styles of music," he said according to XXL. This is what he attempts to portray in his music, especially in his upcoming album.
The rapper set high goals, for example to become as legendary as Tupac and Biggie. While he may be only 18 years old, he is fighting towards this goal everyday and although rapping is his life, he hasn't forgotten about his education.
Time and time again he has reminded himself that nothing is concrete so even though he was always a lover of books he typically saw no use for the college before. However, things have changed now.
According to Vibe, "After once shunning the idea of college, Chicago rapper Lil Bibby is proudly scoping out campuses to pursue a degree in computer engineering."
