Breakfast Club star Anthony Michael Hall has been charged with felony battery with serious bodily injury by The Los Angeles County District Attorney and faces up to seven years of jail time for the crime.

The actor allegedly beat up his neighbor earlier this year and while felony battery with serious bodily injury has a maximum prison sentence of four years, this particular case has special circumstances and the sentence will be raised to seven years in prison if Hall is convicted.

According to MSN back in September, Hall allegedly went after a resident in his Playa del Rey, California, condo building and allegedly broke the man's wrist and injured his back.

The altercation was supposedly caught on tape and TMZ published a grainy recording of the alleged altercation. The incident happened five years after Hall was arrested for allegedly threatening to beat up one of his neighbors. It is unclear if this is the same neighbor.

Hall also had other run-ins with the law back in '80s when he struggled with alcohol dependency.
