Beyonce has slayed another award show once again and this time she did it country style with a little help from the Dixie Chicks!

Bey appeared Wednesday, Nov. 2, on the CMAs wearing a dazzling pastel, floral lace gown by Zuhair Murad.

As soon as the stage lights came on and the musical notes started to play, the audience knew that they were in for a surprise. There had been some rumors floating around that the superstar would perform, but fans weren’t sure of what song and whom she would be performing with. It’s was obvious that she would perform a track off her latest album, Lemonade. but still the question remained which song?

To be praised by the country music world, a wide variety of instruments is a must. At the CMA Awards, the crowd anticipates on hearing a sound they can dance to and what better song off of the Lemonade album than “Daddy Lessons to give you that late-night raspy country sound. The guitar began to play and the harmonica got the crowd going as they clapped to the beat of the song.

Beyonce got lost in the song belting out "Came into this world daddy's little girl and daddy made a soldier out of me" and embraced her country roots as a southern  girl from Houston. The excitement didn’t end there though. Queen Bey then announced that the Dixie Chicks were coming to the stage. The legendary trio joined in singing the tune and made it a performance and night to remember.
