Miley Cyrus kept it real and very personal for her followers Wednesday morning following Donald Trump's win in the election.
"I still think that in Hilary Clinton's lifetime, she deserves to be the first female president and that's what makes me sad," The Voice judge shared in an emotional video she posted to Twitter and Facebook.
The 24-year-old was first an avid support of Bernie Sanders, then rallied for Clinton following her presidential nomination. Cyrus was seen speaking on Clinton's behalf encouraging young people to vote and proudly pledging for Clinton on TV and social media.
Cyrus went on to say "I believe her when she says she loves this country. This is all she's ever done. She's given her life to make it better."
The singer said she remains hopeful for the future and has "accepted" Donald Trump. In the past, Cyrus was quoted on multiple occasions saying she would leave the country if he was elected - looks like she had a change of heart.
