Peaches & Petals is a unique subscription service that sends a mixture of home, fashion and beauty items to your door each month. Every month has a different theme and past boxes have included pillow covers, candles, socks, party supplies, electronic face scrubbers, portable phone chargers and jewelry. You never know what you’re going to get, but it’s always an amazing surprise. I got their October ‘Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice’ box. Here’s what I found inside.

The package was shipped in a plain brown box with plenty of padding inside. The outside was marked with the company logo so you always know what your postman is handing you. Everything arrived in tip-top shape.

The first three items in the box were a scarf, a gourmet chocolate and a puzzle. The scarf is a pretty plaid with fringed edges and is perfect for the colder weather. It’s also super-soft and cozy. I will definitely be using it this winter.

The Trinidad chocolate was large, soft and creamy. I guess some people had trouble with theirs being ruined en route, but mine was absolutely fine. I shared it with my fiancé as a special treat.

The 100-piece puzzle has a mandala pattern that you can color yourself. I’m not much of a puzzle-doer, so this might get regifted. It looks like a quality item though, so I don’t mind passing it along. I have a few friends who could use some calm in their life.

Lastly, the box held a candle and a travel mug. The candle has a delicious pumpkin spice scent – not a surprise with the theme of the box. It’s larger than most candles that subscription boxes send out, so that was nice. The travel mug is made of sturdy plastic and reads “Mornin’, Pumpkin!” It has a unique shape and a closing mouth piece. It keeps my coffee warm quite a while and feels nice in my hand.

Overall, the items in this box definitely add up to more than the $19.99 price of the subscription. I love getting extra value in my boxes, don’t you? I have yet to receive a package from Peaches & Petals that wasn’t worth the price I paid for it, which is more than I can say for some other boxes.

They would make a great inexpensive gift for that hard to buy for woman in your life. Or buy to bring yourself a little extra holiday cheer. Either way, the recipient is bound to be happy with it.
