The Pusheen Box is a quarterly subscription that ships out licensed Pusheen the Cat items that range from household goods to fashion accessories and everything in between. The only theme to the boxes is the season and the cat herself. For example, a Pusheen umbrella in the spring or a Pusheen beanie in the winter. I ordered the Fall 2016 box. Take a look inside with me.

Because this box came out in October, they made the package a little spooky. Instead of a plain cat figure, they made it into Pusheen with bat wings. Very cute! Everything inside was well padded for a safe trip.

The first three items in the Fall box were stationery related. There were a small notebook, a pen and some sticky notes. The notebook has a holographic cover that makes the leaves look like they’re falling. I find lots of uses for paper at home, so this book will be handy.

The pen has pictures of Pusheen on the barrel and a Pusheen charm that hangs from the top. While it looks sweet, I found that the pen is cheaply made. The barrel of the pen feels like it’s going to disconnect at any moment from the tip. Also, the charm fell off almost immediately, although that can be easily fixed. I’m using the pen while I can, but I have a feeling it’s not going to last long.

The sticky notes are great. They’re shaped like the cat and the top 1/3 of the note has adhesive. I’ve been using them to put my name in books that I loan out to friends so they remember who they borrowed them from. I’m sure I’ll find other uses for them around the house too.

The next three items in the box were coasters, a costume set, and an air freshener. The coasters are made of rubber and are truly sturdy. They’re also easily cleaned if you manage to spill. Each one uses Pusheen’s belly as a place to rest your drink. I think they’re adorable.

The costume set is a pair of plush ears and a tail that all attach to your hair and clothes with little metal clips. They’d be great for kids or adults alike who want to dress as a cat for Halloween. I didn’t get to use them this year, but I’m going to hang onto them for future parties.

The air freshener is shaped like Pusheen in a Jack o’ Lantern and it smelled like pumpkin spice. I hung it up, but the scent only lasted a few days. I ended up throwing it away even though it was attractive.

Every Pusheen box so far has come with a plastic figurine and October was no different. This quarter’s figure was Pusheen as a bat. I think it’s charming and I’ll be using it as a yearly Halloween decoration.

Also in the box was a heavy ceramic teacup. The saucer is painted with pie lattice while the cup shows Pusheen sitting in a group of apples. I drink a lot of tea and couldn’t be more pleased with this item. It seems really durable and would make a great conversation piece when having tea with guests.

The last item in the package was a Pusheen crewneck sweatshirt with an all over kitty pattern. You get to choose your size before they mail it out. I found mine was a little bit tight, but it will be fine for around the house this winter.

This is a quarterly box and it costs $39.95 plus shipping. It might seem a bit pricey, but the value of the goodies inside always adds up to more than the cost of the box. Almost everything inside is either exclusive to the box or available before it hits the stores making it great for diehard fans.
