After a year and a half together, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid have called it quits.
A source confirmed the news to People and said that the breakup was due to their conflicting schedules.
“Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album,” the insider revealed. “They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.”
This is actually the second time the model and singer have split. The first time was last December in what was defined as "a break." Their busy schedules were cited as the reason then as well, so there is hope that these two could get back together again once things aren't so hectic.
Hadid and the musician, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, had been dating since the spring of 2015.
They will both be at the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Paris where he is set to perform and she is set to make her runway debut for the brand's annual show.
