Elton John is reportedly planning a musical tribute for the late George Michael.
John will be singing his 1991 duet with Michael, "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" at the singer's funeral, according to Xposé. The performance will reportedly be similar to when John performed "Candle in the Wind," his tribute song to Princess Diana, in 1997 at her funeral.
After Michael's death, the "Rocket Man" artist posted a tribute to him on Instagram.
"I am in deep shock," John wrote. "I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist. My heart goes out to his family, friends and all of his fans."
George Michael, whose real name is Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, died suddenly on Christmas day. He was 53 years old. His funeral date has yet to be announced.
