Could Lauren Jauregui be taking her "Work from Home" to a jail cell?
The Fifth Harmony singer was arrested for possession of marijuana, according to TMZ. The report states that the Washington Dulles International Airport made the call to the police after finding weed in the singer's carry on bag.
After the news broke, fans of the group and fellow artists took to Twitter with the hashtag #FreeLauren.
Jin Joo of DNCE sent out a short, to the point tweet.
As well as singer Jojo.
Despite the reports, Jauregui's lawyer claims there was no arrest made.
"Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance,” attorney Dina LaPolt said in a statement. "She will address the matter appropriately through the legal system. This will not interfere with any future scheduled performances or activities."
