In just days before taking the highest office in the land Donald Trump has once again taken to Twitter in the least classy way possible.

During her acceptance of the Cecil B. Demille Lifetime Achievement Award Meryl Streep expressed her dismay over actions she had seen over the course of the election, without naming names.

"It kind of broke my heart when I saw it and I still can't get it out of my head because it wasn't in a movie, it was real life ... This instinct to humiliate when it's modeled by someone in the public ... by someone powerful, it filters down into everyone's life because it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same."

"When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose."

President-elect Trump clarified what he felt happened that day in a New York Times interview published this morning, but instead of letting the Times legitimize his argument, he posted, "Meryl Streep is a ...." around 6:30 a. m. this morning.

Streep also took time to point out where fellow actors were from, in what conditions they grew up and who they came to portray. She said, "Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners and if we kick them all out, you'll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts."
